Product Overview

The HDP5000e utilizes High Definition Printing (HDP) dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer technology. Instead of printing directly onto the card surface, it prints a sharp, true-to-life color image onto an intermediate HDP film that is fused directly to the card surface. This process ensures seamless, over-the-edge coverage, making it ideal for cards with uneven surfaces, such as proximity cards and smart cards with embedded electronics. Powered by an advanced electronics platform with 1 GB of memory, this printer features standard USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity with an internal print server to manage high-volume issuance environments effortlessly.
