Description

The HID Fargo DTC4500e Single-Sided Monochrome ID Card Printer (SKU: SRX55000) is an industrial-grade, high-volume desktop badging solution engineered specifically for large corporations, academic institutions, healthcare networks, and government agencies. Utilizing advanced direct-to-card resin thermal transfer technology, this heavy-duty workhorse delivers ultra-sharp 300 dpi resolution optimized for high-speed, localized card personalization. Equipped with secure Ethernet and USB 2.0 connectivity, an intuitive SmartScreen™ LCD interface, and robust AES-256 data encryption, the DTC4500e provides exceptional throughput, uncompromised network data defense, and long-term hardware reliability.

Key Benefits

• Industrial Batch Speed: Blazes through massive administrative workflows by outputting up to 2,000 crisp monochrome cards per hour to keep large corporate or campus programs moving efficiently.
• Dual Card Hoppers standard: Features an integrated dual-input card hopper with a total capacity of 200 cards, allowing your team to smoothly manage two separate card stocks simultaneously or run massive print batches with minimal loading downtime.
• Enterprise-Tier Data Protection: Protects your organization's sensitive files and user records during host transmission via built-in AES-256 network data encryption and local password restrictions.
• Resin Ribbon Erase Safeguard: Prevents data leaks and corporate espionage with a specialized driver setting that permanently destroys legible text remnants left behind on spent ribbon spools.
• Modular Future-Proof Scalability: Built around a highly flexible framework that can be easily field-upgraded with automatic dual-sided printing modules, inline lamination stations, magnetic stripe encoders, or smart card programmers on demand.
