Utilizing reverse transfer technology, the printer lays down color graphic elements in reverse onto this clear, flexible substrate before thermally bonding the layer flat against the card face. This process delivers true edge-to-edge, full-bleed visual coverage while creating a heavy-duty physical barrier that shields internal smart card microchips and proximity antennas from everyday mechanical deterioration.

Executive & Technical Justifications

Advanced Edge-to-Edge Visual Protection: Eliminates the unprinted borders common in standard direct-to-card systems. The film serves as a protective overcoat, fusing smoothly across the card's entire face, including flush-mounted contact chips and smart card margins.

Tamper-Resistant Physical Infrastructure: Enhances corporate fraud prevention. Because the card graphics are sealed underneath the bonded transfer film, any attempt to alter or peel away credential data results in the structural destruction of the print layer, alerting facility security personnel.

Uneven Media Surface Compliance: Formulated specifically to bridge structural irregularities. The clear transfer foundation conforms smoothly to varied materials—including PVC, composite PVC, PET-F, PET-G, polycarbonate, and ABS—making it the ideal solution for smart cards with embedded proximity electronics.

High-Yield Batch Output Performance: Provides an impressive 1,200 single-sided images per roll (or approximately 600 double-sided cards), reducing manual intervention intervals and maximizing ongoing system uptime during peak organizational enrollment cycles.

Fulfillment of Warranty Parameters: 100% certified by Evolis HighTrust laboratories.
